History/Relationships: Anhur:(pronounced an-hur[1]), also known as Rumathep, Ramathant in Thay, and Ramatep in Unther, is a wise and peaceful deity. He protects Mulhorand from evil and spends time apprieciating those he protects.

Anhur and his followers were long favoured in Mulhorand before the Orcgate Wars but fell out of favour after the death of the god Horus-Re which was largely pinned on a supposed military failure by Anhur. The church of Horus-Re still bears resentment to Anhur's devout over this despite the fact that Anhur devised the counteroffensive that led to Gruumsh' defeat and the end of the Orcgate wars.

During the Time of Troubles, Anhur took over the portfolio of the slain Untheric deity Ramman (which caused conflicts with his ally Isis since their portfolios are now similar) and subsequently gained back a lot of his lost status by directly confronting his foes such as Hoar, Horus-Re, the shark god Sekolah and Set.

His allies include Isis, Nephthys and he has been known to share a romantic relationship with Sharess.

Dogma:

Avatar/Manifestations: Anhur typically appears as a Mulhorandi human with four arms and dark eyes. His skin is typically red in color, his hair appearing dark, and he usually has a short beard that's often braided. He carries a lance in his right arms, and wears scale or lamellar mail and a headdress sporting three plumes. He is also known to show his will through trained warbeasts and even wild animals such as Falcons or Lions.

When his followers meet resistance he has been known to strike down a bolt of lightning on one of his devout as a show of his might that causes no damage but leaves a mark on the ground where they stand.

Agents/Petitioners: His followers are normally humans of Mulhorandi descent but Unther and Chessenta also have temples to Anhur.

The Church of Angharradh: Pysical prowess factors high in the Anhur priesthood and much of their time is spent perfecting combat techniques and preparing for battle against Anhur's foes. His clergy pray for their spells at dawn each day.

Anhur' priesthood prefer to dress themselves to look like their god, often painting their skin red, wearing a colar and a breastplate akin to his own. Their heads are shaven and painted with the three blues circles of their calling, tatoos often mark their personal achievements and those dedicated to Anhur. High ranking priests have their attire decorated with the symbol of a lion.
