Sticking mostly to trade caravans and travelers camps, Logan made his way from the city and stayed inland eventually making his way to the western coast.		Making his way to Suzail, Logan and several other orphan children fell in with older blind beggar named Salien who taught the children to beg, pickpocket, and survive on the streets. Scraping by as an alley rat, Logan was forced to flee Suzail when Salien was arrested by the local guards and his group of pickpockets targeted by the authorities. Seeking refuge, Logan became a cabin boy for a corsair ship named the Serpent’s Spear. When a raid on a well guarded merchantman ship turned into a bloody skirmish and the Serpent’s Spear was boarded by mercenaries hired to protect the merchant ship, Logan learned that when need be, his small size leant itself to slipping behind the unsuspecting and dealing lethal blows. Logan’s life as a pirate was abrupt. When the ship made port the following month in Ilipur the captain and half the crew were captured and executed. Furthermore, an object sought after by the Church of the Triumvirate came into Logan’s possession. A Halfling female acting at the behest of the church took the artifact and turned it over to Balthazar. This incident, coupled with the events of Logan’s past have set Logan at odds with the Church. Logan’s caustic personality has also caused him to be repeatedly attacked and nearly killed by an elf referred to as Marrs Masters.
