Slaughter had come to his village, and as Lumen ran he could only think | |||

legs could barely keep up with his mother and father. They ran on through the | |||
night, stumbling and tripping on leaden legs as they kept on, with the | |||
inhuman screams and howls close behind. If it was not for the rain, they | |||
would most likely have been caught up within their first hour. As it was, | |||
Lumen heard his father give a small prayer of thanks to Talos, the God of | |||

Early History Raised by druids, Lumen doesn't rightly know who his parents were or where he was born. All he can remember is a few days before the druids took him in. He had been running away from where his home was, his parents right next to him. Like in the stories, it was a very dark and stormy night, and they were fleeing from some unknown atrocity...
