Description: Miyamoto is tall and lean, with jet black hair and brown eyes. He has a quick smile and an easy grace. He is slow to anger and holds honor and duty to his lord above all else.

He always weighs his words carefully before speaking; however, when it is time for action, he is always at the forefront.

History: Miyamoto is from Rokugan or what most people know as the Emerald Empire. He is a member of the Lion Clan, the clan most loyal to the Emperor. He currently helps protect the current Hantei Emperor.

Miyamoto grew up the son of a minor branch of the famous Lion Tadenori clan. Most of his life he grew and trained at the Lion stronghold Kyudan Ikome. He was marked early in life to train in the way of the warrior, as his father and his father before him had.

On his 16th birthday, Miyamoto was brought before his elders and asked the code of the Samurai. Miyamoto spoke the words with passion and complete understanding: - Gi - Honesty and Justice - Yu - Heroic Courage - Jin - Compassion - Rei - Polite Courtesy - Meyo - Honor - Makoto - Complete Sincerity - Chugo - Duty and Loyalty

He also intoned the role of the Lion Clan:

- We are the right hand of the Emperor, and the executor of his will.

Miyamoto became a Samurai and received his two swords at an elaborate ceremony after his meeting with the elders. Over the years, he became a trusted member of the Lion Clan and was known for his clear and thoughtful speach. He was often sent on diplomatic missions with his elders.

Tensions had been rising among the clans and many thought war was inevitable. The emperor sent a trade delegation to Waterdeep to strengthen trade ties and bring much needed currency into his coffers for the impending conflict. Miyamoto was one of the delegates sent on this mission. On the way, his ship was assaulted by pirates and his ship was sunk. Clinging to a spar, Miyamoto washed up on the coast near Sundren with his weapons and a pouch of gold. He also had a lump the size of an egg on the side of his head.

Other Information: Miyamoto seems to have lost many memories of his previous life. He retains his skills and instincts, but does not know much about his past, except for snippets of memory about his life. He retains memory of his name and his code, which was ingrained into his brain from an early age, but he does not know how he got to Sundren nor where he was headed before he got to Sundren. He will seek to find knowledge of his background and while seeking this knowledge, will see and hear of the evil that plagues Sundren and will help where he can.
