As a boy he was he enjoyed going to the Temple of Torm and watch the Paladins coming and going. He admired the strength and respect that the paladins held over the people. As he grew older he studied the ways of Torm and attempted to become a master of the long sword like so many of the paladins he idolized as a child. However, he was never able to master its full potential, and could not help the other paladins in the fight. Unable to aid in the fights Pekerja sought to help the fight in other ways. He would stay back in the fights and help heal the wounded so that they might continue their battles. Pekerja found that he was a much more capable healer than he was a fighter. He believes that Torm himself has blessed him with the power of healing, and he became a cleric of Torm. Following his fellow believers into battle from place to place Pekerja was able to heal those in need and spread the beliefs of Torm to the people of Fearun.
Little is known about where Pekerja was born and raised, but it is known that at some point be chose or was driven out as an outcast. When this occured he fled to the forest in solitude. Pek wandered through the wilds for many years learning how to survive, but the solitude nearly broke his spirit. On one fateful day in his wonderings Pek wondered upon a wounded boar in the brush. Pek had learned to avoid such beasts as they were often unpredictable, but seeing that the boar was injured by arrow during an obvious hunt he knew he had to do something. Over the proceding weeks Pek nursed the injured boar back to health, and the two learned to enjoy one anothers company. After traveling together for many months the boar awoke Pek in the middle of the night as the full moon shone over head. The boar led Pek to a clearing with a pool in the center, and there drinking from the pool was a magnificent white unicorn. Instantly, Pek's thoughts drifted back to the talks of the goddess Lurue's herd of stallion unicorns. At the sound of Pek's audible gasp the unicorn raised its head, nayed, and galloped off into the forest.

In his Travels Pekerja caught wind of a group of warriors and clerics of many gods that had united under one banner in order to fight the evils of Bane. Pekerja then left his brother paladins in order to search for this group for he knew that in order to succeed they would need a healer’s hand. Traveling from town to town Pekerja gathered stories of this groups battles against Bane, which came to be known as the Triumvirate. He also learned that the Triumvirate was located in the distant land of Sundren. Here they had established a temple and were making great progress in the fight against Banes minions. So Pekerja found the first ship to Sundren and now seeks to find the Triumvirate and join their ranks.
Pek feeling graced by the mere sight of the sacred animal immediately predged his life to Lurue and her teachings. From that day forth Pek travelled all over the realm coming and going from town to town on a whim fully enjoying life again. Always on his travels he tried to spread joy and merriment and practiced to become a better healer to aid those in need. And thus Pek's wandering have brought him to Sundren along with his long time companion a very noisy boar.

Pekerja is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with reddish orange hair. As a perpetual traveller and follower of Lurue Pek is as likely to love you as hate you. If he does enjoy your company he is often times not reliable, as his attention can quickly be drawn away from previous engagements. In all of his travels and merriment with others Pek hopes to once again be blessed by Lurue with the sight of another unicorn.
