He is a small little gnome, short and scrawny even by gnome standards.  Born to a pair of traveling performers, he was always taken to and fro on the road with his parents, who were akin to gypsies in the wandering sense.  His father was a bardic storyteller and his mother supported her husband in his trade.  Telling stories and tales for coin they traveled up and down the sword coast and the surrounding areas.  After growing up and trying his hand at his fathers trade, Pom found out he had no ability whatsoever like his father.  Reaching adolecence Pom finally decided he was through being dragged around everywhere without having a home or friends to call his own.  Being in the city of Everlund at this point Pom made his way to the high forest where he was sheltered by some of the local Druids.  Over the course of the next few years Pom found that the ways of the Druids was more suitable for him.  They encouraged him to take to the road again that he might travel and learn more from the great wide world.  This is how he ended up coming to Sundren.

Shortly when coming to the area and not knowing many people, Pom witnessed the sacrifice of Hubei to restore mittens to life by a prayer to the great hunter.  Shocked at what he had seen Pom went his way, seeing the two halfling sisters occasionally after that.  Speaking with them at a later time Pom was invited to hunt with their tribe as they made war on the mountain.  Glad to feel invited and accepted he joined them a few times until being officially invited to join the whitepaw tribe not long after.  Being able to learn from a master like Mittens made Pom leap at the opportunity and he has remained loyal to the tribe ever since, learning greatly not only from Mittens but from Qybox, Brak, and Richard as well.  Currently the newest member of the Whitepaw tribe Pom has learned skills and has become as loyal to them as a wolf to its own pack.
