Brunus is a grizzled old dwarf with a fiery beard and the temper of a rageing giant. His body and face show the signs of time and battle, the scars he carries tell the tale of thousands of battles. one paticularly brutal scar have left his left eye totally ruined, the eye patch that he carries fails to cover this grim wound that looks like it would have killed most dwarves.

Brunus is extremly strong being able to carry armors that would crush a human with relative ease.

Brunus is fiercely loyal to those that earn his trust ready to march to gates of the hells if thats what it takes, but should anyone betray his trust then only the gods themselves would be able to keep them safe.

Equipment:

Brunus is clad in a VERY heavy dark platemail that looks like it could survive being chewed on by a dragon. It is adorned with runes and markings devoted to Clangeddin Silverbeard and is specially crafted to fit only Brunus.

His shield is a heavy steel sheet fastened to an ironwood innerframe, it is very thick being 12 inches thick and the thickest point.

Brunus also carries a magnificient masterly crafted warhammer adorned from top to bottom in magical runes that glow with a bright blue gleam. The warhammer in it self is impressive enough but when Brunus touches its handle the hammer sparks to life creating a tempest of lightning bolts around the hammerhead.

Story so far:

Brunus past is something he usually keeps to himself, what small part he have let people know is that he was a warrior one of his clans defenders haveing faced innummerable hardships in the defense of his clan.

Even if his appearences in public tell otherwise brunus have acted with an open heart and a burning desire to see his kin returned to their rightful place in the world. Time and again he have put himself on the line for whatever dwarven cause there was to be had.

In recent months however he got promoted to the rank of Stonewarden within the Skullcleavers, giving him the responsibilities of overseeing the new recruits, the flow of mined goods within the cleavers aswell as other crafting neccessaties. Most importantly is that he is the foremost authority on mining and siegeworkings within the Skullcleavers.

Only time will tell.

Clan History:

The Ironbreaker clan was long thought extinct by the other clans during the decline of the dwarven kingdoms in the north. The clan itself was famed for its superior defenders who is said to be able to emerge victorious against impossible odd's. Another legend about the clan is that the clan was selected by the dwarven god Clangeddin Silverbeard to be the guardians of his twin silver axes until the day where the Times of Trouble would return.

Despite the unforgiving enviroment they live in and the enemies that are constantly at their doorstep, the Ironbreaker clan is an openminded clan with respect for most races and beliefs. The clan also have an alliance with the gnomes of Lantan whom they trade valuable adamantine and mithril with in exchange for golems and other mechanical tools of war to use in their continous battles against the Forces of the underdark.

There is a an old dwarven saying that a line of Ironbreaker Defenders is stronger then a 20 feet thick stonewall...and far more deadly.
