Alyrian Eldeas
Name: Alyrian Eldeas
Class: Warlock
Primary Residence: The Druid Glade
Birthplace: Undisclosed
Age: Somewhere between 100 - 200 years
Race: Moon-elf
Gender: Male
Deity: Formerly Corellon Larethian, Now Faithless
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Background:
Alyrian's past is shrouded in mystery to all but the closest of friends. To others, he has revealed only that he was not born of Sundren, though he now declares it his home. He made a solemn promise to someone he cared deeply for, that he would protect this land against all who threaten it. To that end, he has used his warlock powers to aid Sundren against many calamities.
Significant Relationships:
- Richard Darkholme - As Alyrian's first true friend among Sundren, Richard has provided invaluable insight and advice to him many times.
- Tamara Roth - Though she has been long-past, the aching memory of the love they once shared still hangs over Alyrian. It was in her memory that he now vows to protect Sundren from those who would do it harm.
- Cadmus of Helm - He was a benefactor and supporter of Cadmus and his quest to fight the coming darkness; Cadmus' apparent abandonment of the Faith has left Alyrian bitter and utterly disappointed.
- Nulinus Lightbringer - Alyrian stands firmly behind Nulinus as the new champion of Good within Sundren.
- Kemnebi Shadeweaver - His utter hatred for Kemnebi the Betrayer and Talassan was apparent to all. Kemnebi's death, however, does not seem to have provided Alyrian the satisfaction he initially believed it would.
Factions:
He has no declared allegiances, though he has been a steady supporter of the Temple of Helm. During the Inquisition, he was captured along with many warlocks to be purged of his powers, but for some reason the Abbot Orlan Proskus spared him this fate. As a sign of reverence and gratitude to the Abbot, he continues to offer his magicks when the Church is in need. He also spends much time within the Silvanite glade, and has often helped with the Keeper's troubles as well.
Trivia:
- Hates being unoriginal.
- Has never really won a fight.
