Summary:
Jack stands taller then most men. He is covered in many scars, and he wears hide armor that does not appear to have been washed in the past decade. He carries no holy symbol.
Born into Tethyrian nobility, Jack was an uncooperative child from the start. He got into his first fight at the age of 7, and he openly denounced worshiping a god at 11. Jack's father was a Paladin who fought for the church of Helm, but disappeared during an expedition. Jack's life in Tethyr ended when he lit a fire that escalated out of control, burning down the estate while his mother was away. The fate of his family is unknown to Jack, as he left the ashes remaining of his home that day. He survived as a vagabond along with a couple friends. His reckless behavior and tendency to solve his problems with strength landed him in trouble on more then a few occasions. He escaped a particular trouble by way of sea, and the ship landed him in Sundren.
It was a day like most others. Jack sat at his seat peacefully, relatively peaceful at any rate. A finely dressed man walked in, "what a wretched place!" he spoke, "you there, ruffian" he said, pointing to Jack. "Move away, I need a place away from these brutes," no one was sitting near Jack. There was no answer, as Jack was too busy fishing something out of his drink to even bother replying. "Move your worthless hide!" The man knocked away Jack's drink. Jack cracked his knuckles. "Don't Jack! That's-!"
Jack pulled the arrow out of his shoulder. It had been several days since he had unintentionally killed the man. What sort'a pansy picks a fight but can't take a decent hit. His pursuers were defeated, killed perhaps, Jack didn't bother checking. Jack pulled out his map, Silverymoon ain't too far.
