Aulenel Illudar
Physical Characteristics:
Eyes: Emerald Green
Hair: Golden Blonde
Age: 142
Origin: Evermeet
Deity: Correlon and all the Elven Gods
Brithplace: Evermeet
Alignment: Neutral Good
Race: Sun Elf

Personality/Appearance/Attitude: Aulenel is huskier than your average Sun Elf due to his intense warrior training by the Eldritch Knights of Evermeet. He is a tad clumsy (especially in his armor) and extremely friendly towards all races save the Drow. He prefers to be in the company of wizards and has great respect for anyone that wields a blade with ease as his warrior training was arduous. He is not like most Sun Elves that carry a chip on their shoulder’s and seems very down to earth. Like most elves he has a great love and affinity for nature. He continually tries to hone his skill with the sword and is usually found cleaning up the forests of anything evil that inhabits them and has visited the druid grove from time to time and enjoys their company also.

Equipment: Aulenel in normal everyday life wears loose fitting robes with a wizard hat and wears full plate in the wilds. He is often found complaining about his armor which he hates to wear. He wields a longsword, longbow and a greatsword.

Background Story: Aulenel was set out to be a Selu’taar by his birthright being the son of one. However his heart was always divided by the art and the blade. He then began training with the Eldritch Knight Guards of the Selu’taar. His father taught him all you need to know about the art. To be an Eldritch is no easy task, simply learning the basics of the art from a Elven wizard can take decades and even centuries. Aulenel took to the art as most Sun Elves do, however his eldritch warrior training did not go so smoothly. He is a bit clumsy with his blade and is not as dexterous as most fighters are. As time passed his skills became more refined and became a formidable fighter. His innate mage talents allowed him to focus more time on his warrior training. His journey began when boredom set in and his mind began to wander past the shores of Evermeet. Life as an Eldritch Guard can be boring as the Selu’taar rarely even need guards. They are couriers with glorified names. One day he spoke to father and mentioned his desire to explore Toril. His father knew this day would come and welcomed his idea. Elves have a lot of time on their hands and for a wizard to be great his mind and skills needs to be challenged and that will never happen on Evermeet. So he took a ship out of Evermeet and ended up on Sunderen. He maintains a mental link with his father and has taken interest in Sundurite. The Selu’taar believe this mineral can be just what they need to finish a new spell one them is working on.
