Summary:
Gael Ironhide is a Dwarf who has a natural lust for adventure and particularly for battle. He use to lead out a squad of four Dwarves from the great Citadel Felbarr, but in recent years the dwarven losses have forced King Emmerus Warcrown to stop these patrols of the outlands by his soldiers. Gael grew tired of his mundane lifestyle in the caves of the citadel and decided to embark out for a land ripe with a desire for adventurers. He came to Sundren in hopes of forming a new squad and rendering as many goblin and evil kin as he could find, and if he made some money along the way that's all the better! He is currently trying to organize the few Dwarves of Sundren to form up a squad to be known as the Skullcleavers.
Gael is proficient in heavy armors and always likes boast "The heavier the better!" He keeps his trusted war axe of many years held fastened on the backside of his favored shield, the tower shield. He also enjoys stout ale, and can often prefer to drink alone, or with another dwarf.

Significant Relationships
- Balzack Stonefist - Master Stonefist took it upon himself to craft Gael a fine suit of armor, and replaced Gaels beloved axe, which had developed a crack in its blade. Gael took this as no small act, and although the fellow Dwarf was paid for his help, Gael still promises his axe to aid Balzack whenever he might need it.
- Dwarves, particularly Shield Dwarves. As nearly all other Dwarves Gael holds a great affinity for his kin and would risk his life even if for a Dwarf he had just met.
