YONDALLA: The Nurturing Matriarch, the Blessed One, The protector and Provider

Symbol: A cornucopia on a shield

Home Plane: The Green Fields on Mount Celestia

Alignment: LG

Portfolio: Halflings, protection, bounty, children, security, leadership, creation, wisdom, family, tradition, explorers.

Domains: Good, Protection, Law.

Worshipers: Halflings, paladins, leaders, parents.

Cleric Alignments: LG, LN, NG

Favored Weapon: Short Sword

Yondalla is the mother of the halfling race and the head of the halfling pantheon. As such, most halflings pay her homage, regardless of their lifestyle or alignment. She promotes unity among the halfling race, wanting all her children to live interesting, prosperous lives. Yondalla places high value on the spirit of exploration. She is much like the halfling race (or more accurately, the halflings were made like her) in her charm, curiosity, loyalty, and of course, her healthy sense of mischief.

Dogma: Above all else, followers of Yondalla value family and the community. One's parents and one's elders are to be respected. The young and the infirm are to be protected. While violence should not be sought out for its own sake, the Blessed One aids those who fight fervently to defend their kin.

Clergy: Followers of Yondalla aren't very big on formal services or showy temples. Instead, faith is more a fact of every day life. Clergy generally serves as community leaders.

DALLAH THAUN: The Lady of Mystery

Alignment: CN

Portfolio: Halflings, secrets, guile, thieves and rogues, acquisition of wealth, death.

Domains: Chaos, Knowledge, Luck, Trickery.*

Cleric Alignments: Unknown.*

Favored Weapon: Dagger*

Dallah Thaun is the dark side of Yondalla. They are as two sides of the same coin, separate, but the same. What one knows, the other knows. Those who pray to Yondalla are in fact praying to Dallah Thaun as well, and vice versa. Where Yondalla protects the halfling race, Dallah Thaun seeks vengeance against those who would harm her people. Between the two, she handles the dirty work.

Very few non-halflings know of Dallah Thaun, and they keep it that way. Those who serve the Lady of Mystery reveal themselves as followers of Yondalla to outsiders, and technically, that is correct.

  • NOTE: Dallah Thaun is not implemented as a deity in NWN2. As such, she cannot have clergy in game, making any information on her domains and cleric alignments is for your information, not for the creation of any sort of character.
