Keir Langley is a well-meaning young man whose old life has unraveled around him, forcing him to take to the road. He's traveled to Sundren from the Dalelands, trying to create distance between him and his old home. Paradoxically, however, he still yearns for the Dalelands.<br>
Having reached a valley bordered on one side by sea, and on the other by mountains, Keir feels he's reached a point where he's far and isolated enough from Battledale to be able to rest his feet and remain in one region.<br>
Keir will most often appear to be a distant, slightly sullen man. One need only scratch the surface, however, to uncover his generally well-meaning attitude.
