Hey Everyone, New and old! Welcome back to Sundren. It’s a team effort getting this thing running and operational, so I thought it would be reasonable to give a bit of acknowledgement into who is working behind the scenes. That way, you know what the various names and colours mean, and who’s best suited to tackle various issues or requests.
DISCLAIMER: You should still file any issues through the appropriate subforum (Ingame Bug Reports, Character Requests, Feature Requests, Website Support (And not directly to any individual). Please be patient, as we all do have people-things going on.
Roles:
- Admin – Folk with Red names, handle all the big heavy lifting for the server management and moderation.
- Developer – People with Green names, we work on the backend systems and mechanics nonsense.
- Dungeon Master – Users with Blue names, carrying all those lore decisions and in-game dispute resolution.
- Will add more whenever its applicable.
While I know there are probably a bunch of responses people could give here, in the interests of clarity I do request that only team-members introduce themselves here and/or respond to thread.
As for myself:
I’m sure I know many of you, but to those who don’t (or benefit from a refresher), I’m KitsuneNoTsume, a back-end Developer for the server. I’ve been noodling around the server since 2010, and probably most memorably played as James Frazer, notorious artificer of the Exigo Corporation. Crafting is still my jam, and with the revamp if the server my goal is to make the crafting gameplay loop fulfilling and enjoyable. It’s also interconnected through messy noodles of probability tables, scripts, design theory, and implemented mechanics. As a result, I’m basically to blame for all the loot-system revamps, crafting overhauls, and availability of any type of item not in stores. I also help Seheren with wrangling and cross-checking the various scripts we have extensively around the server.
Any posts about itemization, loot, or crafting will probably see a reply from me eventually. I’ll do my best to answer any loot or crafting related questions to the best of my knowledge, but some responses may be limited due to nesting complexity or DM arbitration. Looking forwards, I’ve got quite a few plans to continue refining and expanding the itemization and dynamics systems we have, and look forwards to reading any suggestions for future Feature Requests.

Cheers,

Hey, All. I’ve been around Sundren regularly since the middle of 2008 (Seheren as a Player), and have the pleasure to be the new Project Lead and Admin. For those who have been around Discord for a while, you may know that I’ started this project a few years ago with almost 0 knowledge of NWscript and only a basic understanding of the toolset. I took on the module after pining about the good ol’ days of Sundren during the height of COVID, and caught myself an obsession. That drive has kept the project going through some difficult setbacks and daunting updates, but here we are! I work on pretty much any and all aspects of the server as my ADD dictates. We’ve made a ton of updates, but there is far more to come – and some of the plans are very ambitious.
Besides Sundren, I am working on a new game project in Unreal Engine 5 – and this is meant to be a replacement for using NWN2 to host a PW. There are some details on the server, but as I make more progress expect to see more. Other than this, my time is fragmented and difficult to plan, so please bear with me on any issues. I have a 45-50/hr office job, 5 kids, and I am a full time student until I graduate this summer – so my time is in high demand!
Thank you for joining us, and never hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything!

Howdy folks!
I am DM_Stonewall, your dwarven loving Dungeon Master, and welcome to the re-opening to Sundren!
I’ve been playing on Sundren since 2012 and have been working on the re-opening of the server since 2022.
I am a newer DM to NWN2, but have been running games for the better part of 20 years now.
I will be on periodically throughout the week in the PST timezone. Unless I’m busy with another issue, always happy to lend a hand where I am able to.

Hello everyone, I am Dungeon Master Atmosphere. Been floating around the NWN community for awhile with my beginnings somewhere around 04 at a server called Nordock. Believe I joined the Sundren community sometime in the early 2009s where I eventually joined the DM team. After that, I spent time as a player and DM at a server with an Arthurian lore (Legacy) setting and then at one with a steam punk setting (EoA). That was probably the last time I took on the DM role, least within the NWN community. Drifted around as a player here and there as well, calling other servers home too. Though Sundren has always had a special place in my heart.
I enjoy all types of stories from horror to comedy to drama. But lets try to keep the drama in character, yes? I’m in the central time zone and you should feel free to contact me here in the forums or on discord at any time. I do plan to roll out my own events but its also very fun to do things that players are requesting. So please, feel free to request away!
Lets see what else? I enjoy kayaking, craft beer, and my cat. Sometimes I travel for work so if I disappear for a bit it might just mean I’m on the road. But I also get to work from home, at times, so might be able to do things here and there for those across the pond.
I look forward to gaming with you. Cheers!

Hey everyone. I’m Doubtful. Resident misanthrope and all round agent of entropy.
I’ve been around on Sundren since joining as a player in 2008 before joining the DM team in 2009.
I’ve much less free time than 15 years ago, but still enjoy hearing about and taking part in amazing stories and adventures.
These days most of my Sundren time is likely to go into the toolset, but I do hope to be able to get some DM client time to bring joyful unicorns and cupcakes to all.
